Youth on fire

Feverish energy

Unbounded urges

All of life’s passion —

The raucousness of youth

The restlessness of hormones

The mind in daze

The heart on fire

The almost-touches, the almost-grazes

A glorious pot of burning gold

Bursting to swathe you, all over

In gold, in silver

In silver, and in gold;

Swimming in the glory

Never felt so good.

A mental tango

The floor has been set.

The music has been put on.

The participants await, in eager anticipation of the back-and-forth

Hoping to be sometimes playful,

Sometimes challenging.

An outstretched hand

A swirl and a twirl

Counting the other to be ready for the counter-move,

The one that’s necessary, for completion’s sake.

They look to inspire the best in each other,

And, if need be,

They’re quick to make up for one another.

A Spiritual Guide to Existentialism

You are merely a manifestation of life, of energy, of spirit. That’s all you really are.

You got three choices –

  1. You can put an end to your manifestation.
  2. You can complain and grouch about the existence of your manifestation until it gets over.
  3. You can do what your manifestation’s mind feels strongly about, and not engage with the shallow ego.

The world exists so that it can watch you giving yourself meaning and purpose. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Don’t ever take yourself too seriously or worry about every single thing you’ve done. Your decisions are more or less left to chance, and what you’ve made your mind up for, at the moment, is what you’ve made your mind up for. They weren’t anymore in your control than they had been.

We are but, merely, creatures of existence, with no sole or bigger purpose. We are all too small in the world. We can only make use of what existence has provided us with, and seek divinity and blessing in that. That is the ulterior purpose of life.
